i'm actually quite happy to start school next mon... coz my holidays are VERY EXTREMELY BORINGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!! just stayed @ home... can't go out coz i told my mom that i will only get 1 A in term 3 ( our teacher didn't have time to give us back our papers and marks b4 the holidays)... but i noe i wouldn't get 1 A... just told her the worst result i could get... and she actually believed me, so my mom was like " ok, since ur results r so bad this term, u are only allowed to go out once." and i went out on the last day of school...-.-

and during this 2 weeks, i worked! as in work in a chinese restaurant as a waiteress:) the restaurant is not like those big grand chinese restaurants in orchard road... it's pretty small and quiet... like sometimes we only get 3 tables throughout the WHOLE night, i could almost fall asleep... but yesterday, it was full house, and super busy... i like it when it's busy, coz it's really fun (like playing diner dash like that) so i work for $10 per hour, and i pick up calls for take-away orders, serve the customers ( bring them 2 the table, get their orders, serve the food etc) , settle bills etc... and sometimes when i go into the kitchen, the chef ask me in cantonese to do sumthing, and even though my parents speak cantonese @ home, i have no idea wad he is talking bout... so i was like " huh?" and he was like "blah blah blah (in english)" felt so dumb >.<

and there was one time this lady called on the phone and said that she wanted to talk to the lady boss, but the lady boss was busy serving a customer. so i was like " she is busy now. " and the women on the phone was like "ok, i'll leave my name and tel no." so i got a pen and paper. then she suddenly started talking bout wad she wants, she was like " i want to make a reservation for tmr for my daughter's 18th b'day" so i just wrote down "18th b'day party" coz i thought she was going to give me her name and tel no. so the lady boss will call her back. then she started saying wad time she would be there, how many ppl, wad b'day cake she want etc. i really wanted to say " just give me your name and tel no. can or not?" but of course i can't say that, so i just wrote down wad she said... and in the end I have to ask her for her name and tel no. so when i put down the phone, i started writing on the reservations book all the details etc, then when i saw the date column, i was like " OMG, i didn't write down the date..." but i had i feeling it was either the next day or sat, so i just put it on the next day.

but on the next day (wed), i was looking @ the reservations book, and suddenly have a feeling that it was on sat, so i was practially freaking out the whole time UNTIL they came and said that they had a reservation for the girl's 18th b'day party... i was like " thank god!"

anyway, now i got $180!!! i noe it's not a lot (it's a lot less that xinlin's pocket $$) but still...

i was sick that day... AND i was SO unlucky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok, so after skl,my frens and i went to the city to take neoprints... (it was fun!!)
the shop was so squeezy, (like u dun even have space to walk properly) and the lady was giving us the "i dun care" attutide whenever we ask her something-.-

then, we went to hanaichi and i shared katsudon wif viv!
after eating and waiting for tash to get her plastic bag it was 4.40pm++, so jen and tash left:(

went to timezone wif yvette and viv... persuaded viv to ride on the motorcycle (yeah!)... it was fun!! i always LOVE the motorcycle at arcades!! we saw this guy playing dance dance revolution, and he was good... better than the sunnybank state high girl we saw at funhouse... and ppl were video-ing him too!!
@ bout 4.55pm+ i walked to central station and took the train back home... i felt worst on the train...
and guess wad?! my dad 4got to bring his house key when he picked me up from the station, and my mom went out after my dad left home...
so my dad, bro and i had to wait outside our house for bout 40min... so can't cook dinner
so after my mom came back we went to a family fren's restaurant nearby...
BTW, i was STILL feeling sick...
and when i went into the restaurant, i was like "OMG!" coz i saw someone -.- i'm not going to tell who it was, but the meal was AWKWARD coz that person was a waiter at the restaurant ! (it's a really weird situation... i can't really explain it)
i was still feeling sick, so didn't feel like eating... so end up waiting for everyone to finish eating, hoping we could go home once everyone finishes. but after their meal, my parents decided to talk to the lady boss aka family fren.
-30 min later-
my mom was like " let's go home. " i was like "OK!"
and then, ANOTHER family fren came in wif her dad... so talk talk talk...which means extended awkward moments...
-ANOTHER 30 min-
went home:)

i felt so sick the next day, but still have to go to school... so dao mei...

i have been so stressed these 2 days!! ahahah!!! all coz of that stupid history report and presentation... (that i have to hand in on mon) but i'm ok now:)
i finally realised that msn can be bad for ppl who are trying to concentrate... like on fri i wanted to do my report, then end up talking to xinlin on msn for like 3 h. talk until past midnight...
then 2dae, i wanted to finish my history ppt, but coz i was talking to kester and 1 dance senior, i finished my ppt at like 5pm ( i started at 1...) i was like super freaked out by the dance senior at 1st when he msn-ed me, coz i don't recognise and remember him... i thought he was some random guy... then i asked zoe if she noe him, she say dunno...and asked me to search fb for him... in the end, he was alvin... i was like why am i so ben4 one...
talked to kelly a little on msn yesterday, she asked me to update so...:)
my life recently has been quite boring... except from yesterday and 2dae, coz it's the stressest days in MY LIFE! spent my time trying to fit into the education system here (coz here not many tests, mostly reports, and some very hard... like this history one) and trying to fit into the social circles:) the ppl here quite friendly, especially the asians:) but i REALLY MISS YOU GUYS!! i really wanted to go for yog but can't now... but it's alright:)

ok, 2dae's the last day of school for term 1 for me, there's a TWO-WEEKED holiday. not one week ... i should be happy, like who isn't happy when there's holidays??

but i'm not REALLY happy. i lost my thumb drive, which i like very much... u noe the 4 GB san disk one?? the one xinlin gave me...FOR FREE... anyway, i really liked the thumb drive and the hello kitty keychain on it... not that i lost any important doc...

i'm so glad that on the day i lost it (b4 i lost it) i e-mailed myself the eng report i needed to hand in the next day. i normally don't e-mail myself, but the teacher said it so... and after i e-mailed myself, i FORGOT to remove my thumb drive!!! and i left it there!! i went back the next day but it wasn't there, so i went to the lost and found area, and it wasn't there... BTW, my school has this big e-mail network system, so everyone in my school has a school e-mail. our e-mail is our student number (it's like our BC no. in S'pore, but it's not nation-wide, only school-wide. my no. is super nice and easy to remember.)

so i e-mailed everyone in the school saying that i lost my USB stick ( everyone who loses sumthing will do that) and the next day, which was yesterday ( i lost my USB on wed) ,someone e-mailed me back saying that she found it but gave it to her fren to give to lost and found. She gave me her fren's name so i went to find her todae.

this girl(let's call her girl 1) said VERY VERY SOFTLY( i had to ask her to repeat herself a few times, but i thought it was a little rude to keep doing that , so i didn't really understand her) that she gave it to another girl (girl 2) but she wasn't sure if girl 2 knew that girl 1 gave it to girl 2 to give to lost and found. i went to lost and found again but it wasn't there. i was so sad...:(:(

and 2dae's the last day of school for this term! i think girl 1 is not telling the truth, but i only realised that after i came home and thought about it.

i did my exams this week too. we have to do reports for eng and geo so there was no exams. i got 20.75/25 for science (i noe here got 0.75 one), chinese got writing test and reading compre, i got A+ for writing, but C for the compre. C!!! so lan! teacher say i never write whole passage into the answer so he dunno i understand the passage or not :( ... he say i need to noe how to answer in test like this... but i find that i didn't write the whole passage in to the questions coz i find that there are some irrelavant parts. like, what has China having ( i think) 23 provinces have to do with why i would go there?? u would go to a country that has nice scenery or sumthing not coz it has many provinces!!! but can't argue with teacher :(

we havn't gotten back our maths, computers and history paper. i'm doing photoshop and illastrator for computers. i'm really bad at it... who ask me not to listen last year for ICT...

for history, i'm doing aust history, like from c. 500,000 BCE to 2008!! how nice is that! and in ONE term, and tested in ONE exam. i think i'm gonna fail...

i've finally decided that i want to join a CCA here... :) can't join dance... too late. so i join badminton, lots of my frens are also joining, so it isn't too bad. but badminton isn't my best sport... u should have seen me last year, so lan! i totally hate badminton last year... but now i think i'm better, not good but better .

and easter here is like a HUGE thing. i've been eating so many chocolate eggs this week, i'm gonna get FAT soon!

i noe this has been a looooong post. i think it's my longest... anyway, it's a long time since i last posted and kelly and yoke kay are COMPLAINING!! :) hahas

so i went to girl 2 and ask her where my USB was. she said that SHE gave girl 1 and girl 1 did not give it to her. but her voice is much louder than girl 1, so i could hear her more clearly.

1. i decided not to join any CCA. at first, i thought that i have to have a CCA here, but i found out that CCAs are NOT COMPULSURY here!! so i think i'll take a break this year from CCAs and maybe join one next year :)

2. normally, food and other school stuff bought in school are suppose to be cheaper than those bought in retail shops. BUT today i went to the canteen for the FIRST time( i brought food most of the time, everyone brings food here) and i saw that 1 packet of sushi is $2.50! ok, the sushi's bigger than the ones sold in the nan hua sushi stall, like 3 times the thickness but half the lenght of a sushi roll. anyway, i also went to the shopping centre today to get a b'day cake for my mom, and my brother said he was hungry. so we went to the nearest food stall to get sumthing for him. it was a sushi stall ... and the sushis are like $2 for 1. (same size and the ones in my canteen) 50 cents difference!

3. yesterday, i went on a geo excursion to the Brisbane river. it was bad, super boring. we had to map the land uses on BOTH sides of the river as the boat moves.( we were on a boat/ferry.) it's like u are writing down 1 of the important building, and the next one comes up. we were also expected to take photos too. i took lots.
