1. i decided not to join any CCA. at first, i thought that i have to have a CCA here, but i found out that CCAs are NOT COMPULSURY here!! so i think i'll take a break this year from CCAs and maybe join one next year :)

2. normally, food and other school stuff bought in school are suppose to be cheaper than those bought in retail shops. BUT today i went to the canteen for the FIRST time( i brought food most of the time, everyone brings food here) and i saw that 1 packet of sushi is $2.50! ok, the sushi's bigger than the ones sold in the nan hua sushi stall, like 3 times the thickness but half the lenght of a sushi roll. anyway, i also went to the shopping centre today to get a b'day cake for my mom, and my brother said he was hungry. so we went to the nearest food stall to get sumthing for him. it was a sushi stall ... and the sushis are like $2 for 1. (same size and the ones in my canteen) 50 cents difference!

3. yesterday, i went on a geo excursion to the Brisbane river. it was bad, super boring. we had to map the land uses on BOTH sides of the river as the boat moves.( we were on a boat/ferry.) it's like u are writing down 1 of the important building, and the next one comes up. we were also expected to take photos too. i took lots. (i'll show you some later)
